I have a beautiful meditation practice with my dear friend Kristin where we meet on Zoom most weekday mornings at 7am and do a short meditation to start the day.
Many times gratitude is the focus of our meditation.
As I’m writing this I am realizing that no matter how often I focus on gratitude during meditation…I am so grateful for the reminder…because it’s so easy to get caught up in what is wrong with my life instead of what is good and right with my life.
During one of our meditations this recently, we focused on being grateful for our body.
It was really beautiful because I sometimes focus on how my body is breaking down vs how strong and reliable my body is and how much it does for me every day!

I recently had some things change in my life and was considering letting go of one of my biggest self-care activities because of the cost.
In the end I realized that the cost to my well-being was too great to give it up.
I know that life can drop unexpected expenses and other surprises into our laps.
